1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Daniel Matthews (“Daniel,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) handles personal information when you visit this website, contact me, request a consultation, purchase services, or communicate about a website project.

A client’s own website and customer data are governed by the client’s privacy notices and our applicable service agreement. When I process personal information solely to provide services for a client, I act according to that client’s instructions and the capabilities of the relevant service providers.

2. Information I collect

Information you provide

I may collect your name, company, email address, phone number, trade, website address, service areas, project goals, account access, communications, and other information you choose to provide. If you purchase services, the payment processor handles payment card details; I may receive transaction, billing status, and limited billing information.

Information collected automatically

The web host and security providers may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested pages, timestamps, and security or error logs. If analytics tools are added, this policy will be updated to identify the relevant categories and choices.

3. How I use information

I may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and evaluate whether the service is a fit;
  • Prepare proposals, provide services, communicate about projects, and support clients;
  • Process transactions and maintain business records;
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and services;
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, or security incidents;
  • Enforce agreements and protect legal rights; and
  • Comply with applicable law.

I do not sell personal information or use inquiry information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. When information is disclosed

I may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, security, forms, email, SMS, scheduling, analytics, payments, project management, file storage, website development, and other business operations. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, complete a business transfer, or with your direction or consent.

5. Cookies and local site data

This website may use essential cookies or similar storage needed for security, performance, or requested functions. The current review-request form is provided by Tally. Information entered into that form is submitted to and processed through Tally under its own terms and privacy practices, then made available to me for responding to the inquiry.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies. Some site functions may not work correctly if essential storage is blocked.

6. Retention and security

I keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention varies according to the type of information and relationship.

I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have provided, subject to legal exceptions and verification. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe method provided or contacting me.

Privacy rights vary by location. I will evaluate verified requests under applicable law. If your request concerns information controlled by one of my clients, I may direct you to that client.

8. Children’s privacy

This website and the services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may be highlighted through the website or direct notice where appropriate.
